Founded in 1959, Motocana started it’s activities as the manufacture of hydraulic components (pumps, controls and cylinders). With the growth of sugar cane plantations, Motocana saw the opportunity and developed the first sugar cane loader in the country. This project began a new phase on the company’s objectives, which launched on those 50 years more than 200 models of equipments developed for cargo handling sectors such as: agriculture, forestry, industrial and loader cranes.
From a policy of solid growth, Motocana diversified its product line by developing a line of forestry equipment to attend an expanding market, which requires equipment to face the difficulties imposed on the forest operations, removing wood from the fields and supplying it to the industry.
The Motocana also developed the MOTOKRAN series which consist on Loader Cranes to be mounted on trucks or fixed attending the cargo handling in general. These cranes are used by all sectors of the industry, such as: Construction, Telephone and Electricity Services, Steel, Agriculture, Transportation, Cargo Companies, and other sectors of industry.
In 2002 the Motocana factory was completely restructured and today, it’s production capacity attend the domestic and foreign markets.
Motocana have a complete infrastructure for services and replacement parts, giving their products all necessary support and reliability acquired over 50 years of its history.
